School Closure Update

School Closure Update

18th September 2020

Dear Parents & Carers,

OA Boulton Closure - Update

Further to my communication yesterday, I am writing with a short update today on the Academy.

Due to the number of staff that are required to self-isolate, the Academy will be closed until further notice.

We are unfortunately unable to open until the staff members affected are well and have completed their self-isolation.  I will contact you again on Friday 25th September, or before, with an update.

As a reminder, we are asking Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 6 to self-isolate due to a confirmed case within their classes.  All other groups, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 are not being asked to self-isolate, but to learn from home until further notice due to low staff numbers.  Please continue to be especially vigilant of how your child is, and whether they display any symptoms of the coronavirus.

If your child develops symptoms of COVID-19, you should organise for your child to be tested via the NHS online portal or by calling 119. Your household should isolate until you receive the test results giving the all clear.

If possible, please support your child following their learning timetable which is now available on the website, please go to the Oasis Academy website and then the home learning page.  Your child continuing to learn, even remotely, is incredibly important for their progress and to be able to jump straight back into their studies when we can re-open the Academy.

If you have any questions or queries, please send these via the school email address and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note we will do our best to reply within 24 hours however there may be delays due to lack of staff availability.

Warm regards

Mrs S Rathore

Principal.
