We are absolutely delighted with Ofsted’s findings. We are officially a “Good” school, with our Early Years and Foundation Stage (Nursery/Reception) providing an "Outstanding" provision for your children.

Teaching is outstanding. Adults teach phonics daily, using a combination of approaches to meet the needs of the children. They provide numerous opportunities for children to practise and apply their phonic knowledge throughout the day. As a result, the great majority of children attain a good knowledge of letters and sounds.

When Ofsted inspected the academy they found:

• Effectiveness of leadership and management to be Good

• Quality of teaching to be Good

• Behaviour and safety of pupils to be Good

• Achievement of pupils to be good and 

• Early Years provision to be Outstanding

The entire report is a celebration of what can be achieved when all within a community work together to ensure our young people are valued, cared for and challenged to fulfil their potential. Can I again draw parents/carers attention to the fact that the Ofsted team make special reference within the report to the ‘outstanding’ behaviours of the students, which is a real credit to both them and yourselves as parents/carers.
